Job summary

The Department of Pathology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine is recruiting an academically oriented AP/CP or AP Board-Certified Pathologist with hematopathology specialization to serve as Director of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory. The ideal candidate will lead lymph node and bone marrow interpretation, with strong skills in diagnostic flow cytometry and assay development, including spectral flow cytometry.

The role includes conferences, education, and research.

Qualifications

• AP/CP or AP board-certified pathologist with hematopathology subspecialty.
• Experience interpreting lymph node, bone marrow aspirates and biopsies.
• Strong technical expertise in diagnostic flow cytometry and assay development.
• Experience with spectral flow cytometry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and operational leadership of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory.
• Oversee assay development and validation.
• Participate in conferences, resident and fellow education, and clinical and translational research.
