The University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, seeks candidates for a full-time faculty position. Candidates are expected to have a strong interest in teaching, research, and patient care in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal applicant will work with a well‑established group and contribute to education, patient care, and scholarly activity. Rank, track, tenure, and salary are negotiable based on training and experience.

Formación

• Graduate from an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency program.
• Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Dermatology.

Responsabilidades

• Duties include dermatology clinical service (medical and surgical/procedural dermatology), teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, as well as potential to add clinical research.
• Teaching to residents, students, nurses and fellows is required, as we work with trainees over the medical continuum.
• Candidates with prior clinical experience as well as a history of successful resident teaching and publications are encouraged to apply for this position.
• Clinical faculty provide clinical coverage in the Outpatient Care Center and inpatient consults within the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System and its affiliated clinics and partners.
• Call coverage is expected at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
