Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Union, NJ seeks an Academic Dean to expand and refine our training programs, while guiding recruitment, development, and management of a high‑caliber faculty and student community.

You will oversee curriculum development and program implementation, align with industry standards, and contribute to budgeting, policy evaluation, and excellence across campus. This role demands strategic thinking, clear communication, and steadfast commitment to Lincoln Tech's values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior and executive management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, development, and management of faculty and staff.
• Direct curriculum development and program implementation.
• Provide guidance to faculty and students, promoting quality and excellence.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting to support program needs.
• Lead evaluation and enhancement of academic policies and outcomes.

Responsibilities of an Academic Dean

• Encourage commitment to the vision and core values of Lincoln Tech
• Emphasize strategies that maximize the use of available resources, to consistently strive for quality results and achieve standards of excellence
• Make effective decisions and support implementation and evaluation of programs and policies
• Assist in budget preparation by forecasting trends and potential requirements
• Contribute to curriculum development and implementation
• Encourage and support faculty development, training, onboarding, and evaluations
• Focus on faculty recruitment, to ensure qualified instructors for all programs

Requirements of an Academic Dean

• 5+ years of management experience
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships and partner with senior and executive management
