Job summary

Columbus State Community College seeks a Functional Analyst, Academic Systems to lead the development, integration, and automation of academic systems and reporting solutions. You will drive data governance, dashboards, and centralized data sources supporting curriculum management and student success.

You will collaborate with IT, Institutional Effectiveness, Enrollment Services, and other offices to improve operational effectiveness and ensure reliable institutional data for decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience supporting ERP systems, student information systems, business intelligence, data analytics, or related technology functions.

Responsibilities

• Supports administration, optimization, integration, and ongoing enhancement of Academic Affairs systems including Workday Student, CurriQunet/Acadea, 25Live Schedule Optimizer, Parchment, Paradigm, OnBase, SharePoint, and related applications.
• Develops, tests, and implements EIBs, integrations, automated workflows, and related technology solutions.
• Evaluates business processes and system functionality across the academic lifecycle to identify automation opportunities.
• Participates in system implementations, upgrades, testing, release validation, and post-production support.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation and user support materials.
• Develops centralized reporting structures and BI solutions for Academic Affairs data.
• Designs dashboards and self-service reporting tools for leadership.
• Maintains repositories for course/program approvals and accreditation documentation.
• Integrates data across systems to improve data consistency and reporting efficiency.
• Performs data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
