Job summary

Ascensus Global, Inc. seeks an Academic Coordinator/Alternate Program Manager to support a country-wide language training contract. You will mentor instructors, design curriculum, and manage training programs to ensure high-quality language instruction for government customers.

The role requires five years of adult education experience, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities. On-site work at JBLM Language and Culture Center, WA is expected with standard government hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor with significant adult education/teaching experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Experience managing teams and program operations in government/military education contexts.

Responsibilities

• Mentor language instructors to improve learning outcomes and align with contract requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain curriculum materials, lesson plans, and course modules for adult learners.
• Develop and implement a 40-hour annual instructor training program.
• Manage LMS and SharePoint-based instructional content; organize materials by language/proficiency.
• Oversee day-to-day contract operations and ensure continuity and quality of language training during Program Manager absences.
• Coordinate task orders and instructor scheduling to meet course delivery deadlines.
