A leading association is seeking a Coordinator responsible for monitoring student-athletes' academic progress and serving as an advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. This role requires a passion for student development, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. A master's degree or equivalent experience is necessary.
The Coordinator will interpret, analyze and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes; assess student-athlete overall academic performance and its impact on progress toward graduation and NCAA eligibility; maintain knowledge of all NCAA and University rules concerning academic standing and eligibility requirements.
In addition, the Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting the Assistant AD for Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) with the coordination of Student Development and implementation of the Spartan Shield Program. The coordinator will serve as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Advisor.
The candidate will possess a passion for the holistic development of student-athletes. The candidate must be detailed oriented, have excellent communication skills, and meet deadlines.
A master’s degree, or a bachelor’s Degree and an equivalent amount of education and experience is required.
One to two years of related experience is also required.
