Job summary

Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified Complex Benign and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the newly established Division of Complex and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (CMIGS). This full-time, open-rank academic position serves as a regional referral center for complex benign gynecologic conditions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or equivalent with board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship in Complex Benign/Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced minimally invasive, laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and/or vaginal surgical care for complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Participate in the education of medical students and OB/GYN residents through clinical teaching and simulation training.
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives within gynecologic surgery.
• Engage in clinical or translational research aligned with Division priorities.
• Support the development of a formal referral program and interdisciplinary partnerships.
