Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking patient-centered anesthesiologists to join our growing teams across Indiana, with locations at IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice in both academic and community hospital settings with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Residency training in Anesthesiology is required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Full-time clinical practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Case variety including general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more.
• Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine.
• Flexible scheduling to support faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects.
• Call responsibilities required (varies by site).
• Work alongside a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists.
