Rutgers Health, in collaboration with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, seeks an Academic Cognitive/Behavioral Neurologist for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of Cognitive Neurology.

The role emphasizes outpatient evaluation and management of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, with opportunities for clinical research, teaching, and collaboration across geriatrics, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology, Cognitive Neurology, Neuropsychiatry or related subspecialty preferred.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
• Strong commitment to outpatient clinical care and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient-focused evaluation and management of Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal and Lewy body dementias.
• Participate in the Alzheimer’s disease infusion therapy program.
• Collaborate with geriatrics, neuropsychology, genetic counseling, speech therapy, rehabilitation and dementia services.
• Teach and mentor neurology residents, advanced practice providers, medical students and visiting trainees.
• Participate in inpatient neurology consultations and departmental grand rounds/conferences.
• Engage in clinical research and industry-sponsored clinical trials.
