FullBloom in Chicago, IL is seeking a part‑time in‑person Academic Coach/School Counselor. You will advocate for students, support their behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development, and help create a safe, inclusive school environment.

The role involves counseling in classrooms or small groups, conducting learning assessments when requested, coordinating with parents and staff, and handling administrative tasks with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
• State certification in counseling (LPC/PEL with school endorsement).
• Experience working with students is desired.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

• Stay at the forefront of current changes and trends in the field, equipping yourself with the tools and knowledge to deliver guidance and support to those you serve.
• Forge a foundation of trust and reliability through a deep understanding of the rules and procedures set forth by the Company Counseling Policy and Procedure Manual, the funding source, and the individual school.

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:

• Master’s degree in counseling or a related field.


• State certification in counseling such as LPC or PEL with school counseling endorsement.


• Experience working with students (desired).

Pay Rate

USD $26.00 – $35.00 per hour.
