Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification/eligibility from the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty board certification/eligibility in Medical Microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a busy, full-service laboratory serving the MUSC hospital and affiliated hospitals in the state.
• Provide clinical guidance and scientific advice on selection, performance and interpretation of clinically relevant investigations to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
• Instruct medical students and participate in training of pathology residents and fellows, infectious disease fellows, and collaborate with Molecular Pathology and Genomics teams.
