CHI Health is seeking a Clinical and academic Chief of Thoracic Surgery in Omaha, NE. You will lead an established program, expand clinical, research, and educational activities with Creighton University, and supervise residents and students in a top-tier academic setting.

Ideal candidates have robotic thoracic surgery expertise, a track record in education and leadership, and a commitment to equity and high-quality patient care within a large multi‑specialty system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery or eligibility.
• Active or eligible Nebraska medical license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an integrated thoracic oncology program.
• Educate surgical residents and medical students in collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic, Pulmonary, and Oncology teams to advance research and patient care.
