Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Official transcripts are required for formal employment.
  • Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in Regular Education and/or Secondary Core Content Area.
  • Applications considered on a rolling basis; licensed candidates preferred; unlicensed candidates may be considered with license plan and DPI requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Use standards (CCSS, SELS) to identify targets that all students should know, do and understand.
  • Plan daily and weekly lessons to support student growth toward mastery of standards.
  • Instruct students individually and in groups using varied methods to build engagement and independence.
  • Adapt teaching materials to meet diverse needs and interests of students.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and use assessments to guide instruction and support progress.
  • Collaborate with all staff to plan and support student learning and communicate with parents/guardians.
