Job summary

MaineHealth’s Maine Medical Center Cardiac Surgery division seeks a full-time, academic cardiac surgeon with interest in minimally invasive and robotically assisted mitral valve repair. The program performs extensive complex and valve procedures with active ECMO, MAZE and VAD support.

The successful candidate will join six adult cardiac surgeons and one congenital surgeon, with an academic appointment and teaching duties to residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification/Board Eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
• Candidates with minimally invasive and/or robotically assisted mitral valve repair expertise preferred.
