Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our academic division in Worcester, MA. This full-time faculty role blends EP procedures with outpatient care, teaching, and clinical research within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will participate in high-volume AF ablation, VT ablation, device therapy, and novel EP programs while mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• MD or DO with eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure.
• Interest in academic medicine, including teaching and research.
• Strong collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Subspecialty VT ablation or advanced EP procedures preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• EP lab procedures, device implantation and interrogation, and inpatient EP consultations (80%).
• Community-based ambulatory outpatient care (20%).
• Teaching fellows, residents, and medical students; engage in clinical research and program development.
