Job summary

Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites applications for an academic surgical pathologist specializing in breast pathology. The position is full-time, non-tenure track, with potential for Director of Breast Pathology for experienced candidates.

The successful candidate will join a collegial team, oversee ~1200 new breast cancer cases annually across multiple sites, and engage in teaching, research, and translational work while pursuing Georgia medical licensure

Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology.
• Fellowship training in breast pathology preferred.
• Interest in a second subspecialty such as gynecologic pathology or cytopathology is desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience may be considered for Director of Breast Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a wide variety of breast specimens in a subspecialized setting.
• Join an interactive, collegial group of faculty with teaching and clinical translational opportunities.
• Contribute to a large residency program and fellowship activities.
