Job summary

University of California, Davis is recruiting an Academic Anatomic Pathologist at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in Anatomic Pathology. Subspecialty in Breast Pathology is preferred, with additional subspecialty options encouraged, including lung, cytopathology, and head/neck pathology.

The position involves clinical service on subspecialty teams, intraoperative consultations, and after-hours call.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or MD/PhD required.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in anatomic pathology.
• California license or eligibility for licensure.
• US Citizenship or eligible for employment visa.
• 2–5 years' experience in clinical/academic setting meeting UC criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service within subspecialty teams and participate in intraoperative diagnoses and after-hours/weekend call.
• Teach clinical, didactic and small group sessions to residents and medical students.
• Engage in scholarly activity and participate in department and school committees.
• Collaborate within UC Davis Health and related centers on clinical, translational, or educational projects.
