Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York is seeking a dedicated pathologist to join a dynamic academic hospital, practicing the full spectrum of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. You will sign out diverse surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen section cases with a high level of autonomy.

The role includes intraoperative consultations, autopsies, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Leadership, teaching opportunities, and potential loan forgiveness are highlighted in this position.

Qualifications

• Active NYS medical license required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice the full spectrum of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in an academic hospital environment.
• Interpret and sign out surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen section cases with diagnostic autonomy.
• Perform intraoperative consultations, autopsies, renal biopsy adequacy assessments, and report critical results.
