UNLV's Student Academic Success unit is recruiting an Academic Advisor to guide students through major exploration, career planning, and degree completion. The role operates across advising centers, using current program knowledge.
You will conduct diverse advising meetings, perform outreach, and work with campus partners to ensure consistent practices and inclusive support. A bachelor's degree and advising experience are required.
Provide comprehensive academic advising and career/major exploration services to all UNLV students, including exploring major, pre‑professional, non‑degree‑seeking, and students requiring additional advising support. Operate independently with sound judgment while fostering student‑centered guidance across multiple advising centers and maintaining current knowledge of UNLV majors, minors, certificates, and micro‑credentials.
