The University of Arizona Global Campus is seeking a full-time Academic Advisor to manage a student caseload and provide educational advisement, guiding students through university policies and procedures. Strong communication via phone, email, and chat supports retention and graduation goals.
The role emphasizes building rapport, coordinating with enrollment services, and collaborating with staff to help students succeed while maintaining compliance with Title IV and campus policies.
The Academic Advisor is a full-time employment opportunity. This role manages a student case load, by providing educational advisement while helping students navigate university policies and procedures. Relying, heavily on strong communication skills via phone, email and chat to ensure a positive student experience, focused on building rapport, student retention and graduation. All Academic Advisors work in team atmospheres. Sharing the responsibility of coaching and advising any student when needed. By working closely with all other departments, their manager and peers. Rate of Pay: $20.33 - $25.41. Compensation Type: Hourly at 1.0 full-time equivalence (FTE). Grade: 5. Compensation Guidance: The Rate of Pay Field represents the University of Arizona’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.The University considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity. The Grade Range represents a full range of career compensation growth over time in this position and grade. The university offers compensation growth opportunities within its career architecture.
