New York University seeks an Academic Advisor for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The role involves advising graduate students on academic programs and assisting in academic advising duties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a preference for those experienced in student advising within computer science.
Academic Advisor to join the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). This position will advise graduate students on academic programs, policies, procedures, transfer credits, and students on probation. The advisor will also make recommendations when appropriate and assist the coordinator of academic advising in related duties.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000 to USD $77,000. NYU considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, market, and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
