Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health seeks an academic addiction medicine physician to join our growing division. You will provide inpatient and outpatient care for individuals with substance use disorders and report to the division head of addiction medicine with an academic appointment at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completed fellowship in addiction medicine is preferred.
• Active NJ medical license with board certification or eligibility in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient addiction medicine care within an academic healthcare setting.
• Lead and participate in hospital consultation services for patients with substance use disorders.
• Develop and participate in detoxification, stabilization, and bridge programs.
• Engage in community outreach and interprofessional collaboration to serve underserved populations.
