Qualifications

• High school diploma required; certification as ACA Enrollment Counselor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Electronic Health Records.
• English proficiency required; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate the public about the ACA and services they may qualify for.
• Enroll applicants into Covered California and Medi-Cal.
• Plan and facilitate county-wide health education events.
• Maintain confidentiality of applications and records.
• Build and retain networks with community agencies and outreach workers.
• Data entry of applications in Oasis Insight.
• Refer applicants to the appropriate department or resource agency.
• Case management of difficult or urgent cases.
• Attend community events and seminars to provide information on programs.
