Overview

A mature, entrepreneurial couple in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of NYC are seeking a temporary part-time cook/housekeeper. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2pm to 7pm for the term of 4-months. They currently have a part-time housekeeper and are looking for some additional assistance while one of the principals recovers from a medical procedure. The couple has some Kosher dietary restrictions such as no shellfish or pork. The focus will be on cooking, with general housekeeping being secondary, and laundry as needed. No care-takingduties will be required.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping including laundry
• Grocery shopping as needed – ingredients should be fresh
• Preparation of simple healthy dinner, some snacks and chopped fruit and veggies for breakfast the next morning
• Properly store food as principals often eat dinner at separate times
• Tidying up of kitchen after meal prep

Qualifications

• Ability to cook Mediterranean style, simple tasty food, soups, fish, and salads
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Must be able to read clothing labels and launder properly
