Description:
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of breast cancer. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include focusing on patients with breast cancer in an outpatient setting at Penn Medicine Radnor (PMR and/or the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM) and attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
Applicants must demonstrate excellent qualifications in education and clinical care in the area of breast cancer. There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership in this role. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
