AC & Refrigeration Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable A/C & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for a professional with hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems who values safety, quality, and technical precision. Key Responsibilities:
•
Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, reach-ins, and air conditioning units
•
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and execute high-quality, efficient repairs
•
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and life span
•
Maintain detailed service records, including diagnostics, parts used, and follow-up recommendations
•
Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and building code standards
•
Coordinate with other technicians and facility staff to minimize operational disruptions
•
Stay up to date with evolving technologies, tools, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
•
3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
•
EPA Section 608 Certification and valid HVAC license required
•
Proficient understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
•
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
•
Able to manage multiple service calls independently and efficiently
•
Availability for after-hours, weekend work, and on-call rotation
•
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Qualifications:
•
Technical degree or trade school certification in HVAC
•
Experience working with energy management systems or programmable controls
•
Familiarity with local codes and commercial building standards
