Strada Services in Schertz, Texas seeks an AC Installer to install HVAC systems in new residential builds, following manufacturer specs and codes.

The role requires installing ductwork, equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans with emphasis on safety and quality. A valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required and 1 year of duct/equipment installation experience in residential homes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Install ductwork in new residential construction.

Job Summary:

The AC Installer is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new construction residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installation of ductwork in residential new construction homes.
• Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.
• Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
• Always maintain safety standards.
• Prepare operational reports.
• Update job-related knowledge or skills.
• Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
• Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.
• Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
• Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.
• Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company’s standard timeframe.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
• Physical dexterity.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times.
