POSITION PURPOSE: Assists Front Desk Manager with overseeing all Front Office Operations to ensure profitability, control costs and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Supervises front desk staff and assists with greeting guests, checking guests in and out, handling guest requests and complaints, and handling group check-ins.

Salary starts at $61,200

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Supervises front office team members.
  2. Performs manual and computer posting of transactions.
  3. Handles money, credit cards, and checks.
  4. Deals with guest complaint dissatisfaction.
  5. Takes reservations.
  6. Performs additional duties or projects as assigned by Front Office Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Previous hotel front desk management experience required.
  2. Good communication and organizational skills.
  3. Accurate typing skills; ability to use office and front desk systems.
  4. Must be available to work a varied schedule to include full time hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
