Job summary

Air Transport Services Group seeks a Line Maintenance Representative to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and components. The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma, and ability to travel regionally for station coverage and training.

You will work outdoors in all weather, be on-call as needed, and assist with deicing, GSE maintenance, and MXI tasks while ensuring FAA and QA audits are met across stations.

Overview

The Line Maintenance Representative will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations. Responsibilities include communication with all departments within the company, traveling for station coverage, training, and other maintenance support, and working outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues.
• Maintain station manuals, parts, and tooling inventory.
• Perform aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, MXI work as needed.
• Travel regionally to verify stations will pass FAA and QA audits.
• Travel regionally to train new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to successfully pass an MVR background check.
• A&P License.
• 2 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Technical knowledge of aircraft systems, concentrating on the aircraft type at the station applying for.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Good interpersonal skills, communication (written and verbal).
• Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism, and leadership.
• Ability to travel on company aircraft as required.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces.
• Ability to work in adverse/outdoor conditions.
• Wear respirator/safety protective equipment as indicated.
• Lift objects weighing various amounts up to 75 lbs.
• Perform work at heights up to 60 ft.
• Ability to obtain SIDA Badge (Federally required background to obtain access to airports, aircraft, and air cargo).

Preferred Skills

• 4 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft.
• 2 years of hands-on line management experience on type aircraft operated by ABX.
• 757 / 767 Experience.
