Air Transport Services Group is seeking a Line Maintenance Representative to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and line maintenance of aircraft and components across multiple stations. You will communicate across departments, travel for coverage, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

The role includes deicing, GSE maintenance, and contributing to MXI work while ensuring FAA and QA audits pass.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• A&P license is required.
• 2 years of experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Aircraft systems knowledge with focus on the station's aircraft type.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage.
• Ability to work unsupervised and travel as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivation, integrity, professionalism and leadership.
• Ability to travel on company aircraft as required.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather; PPE use.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights up to 60 ft.
• Ability to obtain SIDA badge.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and line maintenance on aircraft and related equipment.
• Communicate with all departments; travel for station coverage and training.
• Maintain station manuals, parts and tooling inventory; perform aircraft deicing and GSE maintenance.
• Assist with MXI work and QA audits; travel regionally to verify stations pass audits.
• Train new team members on paperwork, MXI and manuals.

Overview

The Line Maintenance Representative will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and other line maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and FAA regulations. The role involves communicating with all departments within the company, traveling for station coverage, training and other maintenance support, and working outside in all types of weather. This position will require being on-call as needed and assisting Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues. Responsibilities also include maintaining station manuals, parts and tooling inventory, performing aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, MXI work, and regionally traveling to verify stations will pass FAA and QA audits. Additionally, the representative will be required to train new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc., and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have HSD/GED
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass an MVR background check
• A&P License
• 2 years experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems
• Aircraft systems and technical knowledge, concentrating on aircraft type at the station applying for
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good interpersonal skills, communication written and verbal
• Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism and leadership
• Ability to travel on company aircraft as required
• Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
• Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
• Wear respirator/safety protective equipment as indicated
• Lift objects weighing various amounts up to 75 lbs.
• Perform work at heights up to 60 ft.
• Ability to obtain SIDA Badge (Federally required background to obtain access to airports, aircraft and air cargo)

Preferred Skills

• 4 years experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
• 2 years hands-on line maintenance experience on type aircraft operated by ABX
• 757/767 experience
