  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey findings effectively and influence cross-functional teams at various levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in dynamic environments.

This role involves working globally and cross-functionally with Google Engineers and Product Managers to address online safety challenges and combat abuse and fraud at scale. Your work helps promote trust in Google and ensures user safety.

Trust & Safety is Google's team dedicated to combating abuse and maintaining user trust. We collaborate across Google to develop solutions for issues like malware, spam, and account hijacking, working to reduce risks and fight abuse across all products in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze trends, conduct data analysis, and identify signals for enforcement solutions.
  • Understand abuse in messaging, workflows, and available intelligence.
  • Collaborate with teams to design anti-abuse protections using reputation data (phone number, user, IP) and advise on strategies, including productionizing Machine Learning models.
  • Create dashboards to monitor abuse, perform quality checks, and educate clients to mitigate issues upstream.
  • Lead projects to protect Google's infrastructure from abuse, harm, or fraud, based on data analysis and product insights.
