Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in baccalaureate nursing education.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic and/or clinical instruction to ABSN students.
• Assist with student learning experiences, supervision, and evaluation in clinical, classroom, and simulation settings.
• Support ABSN content delivery and learning activities to meet program outcomes.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback on clinical competence and progress.
• Communicate student performance and needs to course faculty and Program Director.
• Serve as subject matter expert and contribute to course delivery and academic support.
• Foster a positive learning environment promoting professionalism and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff, clinical partners, and community stakeholders.
• Participate in faculty meetings and accreditation-related activities; ensure compliance with policies.
• Perform additional duties to support the academic mission of TTUHSC and the School of Nursing.
