Hamilton Tanks LLC is seeking an abrasive blasting technician to clean tanks and components, operate blast delivery systems, and prep surfaces to specification. You will work closely with the Shop Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient operation and high-quality finishes across our fabrication process.

Responsibilities include blasting, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with finishing teams to achieve defined surface standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with manual sand/grit blasting machines and materials.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, fit-for-duty test, and Respirator Fit Test.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear respirator protection.
• Ability to read and follow shop practices; willing to train on additional equipment.

Mansioni

• Clean incoming tanks and components of grease and dirt.
• Shovel or pour abrasive sand, grit, or steel shot into the hopper.
• Inspect, start, and maintain blast delivery systems; regulate pressures for safe operation.
• Operate blast nozzles to strip rust and coatings; finish details with scrapers, brushes, or abrasive papers.
• Verify the final surface finish and quality against defined standards.
