Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting on structural steel using approved equipment.
• Prepare steel surfaces for painting and protective coatings.
• Remove rust, mill scale, old coatings, weld spatter, and contaminants.
• Inspect blasted surfaces for cleanliness and surface profile.
• Operate and maintain blasting equipment.
• Move materials using overhead cranes or forklifts when needed.
• Follow project specs and quality standards.
