Job summary

The Panther Group is seeking experienced maintenance mechanics to service Abrams tanks at Fort Hood. You will read and apply troubleshooting procedures, perform preventative maintenance, and installMWOs on multiple variants of the Abrams family.

Candidates must be US persons with a high school diploma and at least one year of mechanical maintenance experience. Expect field and shop work, occasional travel, and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of general mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret troubleshooting procedures and diagrams.
• Must be a US person and able to obtain required clearances.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain tank driver’s license.
• Able to work at heights and in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance checks and services on Abrams tanks.
• Install Maintenance Work Orders (MWO) on Abrams variants.
• Maintain accountability of special tools, test equipment and property.
• Travel to Ft. Hood and other sites as required for maintenance tasks.
