Job summary

ArcBest is seeking drivers in Seattle, WA to join their team. This role includes attending an ABF Freight-approved driver training school and ultimately performing the duties of a checker/driver.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, age of at least 21, and the ability to obtain a CDL-A. Benefits include health coverage with no premiums, sick leave, and contributions to a 401(k).

The training wage is $18/hour, increasing to $31.80/hour upon completion.

Job Description

Requirements

Benefits

• Wages are Teamster Union Scale which are greater than most other carriers. Hourly employees also receive overtime pay after 8 hours/day.
• All Union Employees receive health and welfare benefits with no employee paid premiums.
• Each employee receives 7 days of sick leave each January 1st. With the amount of personal days, sick leave, and paid holidays, an employee may qualify for up to 3 weeks of paid days off without using vacation.

Other Details

Compensation: This is a hourly position paid weekly.

The wage for this position is $18 per hour during the 6 week training course and then will go to full scale. Current rate for full scale is $31.80.
