Job description

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year with continuity during that time period and renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Responsibilities
  • Interpretation of Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy of the body.
  • Participation in the Abdominal Imaging off‑hour on‑call program, including evenings, nights, and weekend coverage.
  • Development of research credentials with support to prepare for an academic and/or clinical career.
Qualifications
  • MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree.
  • American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub‑specialty training in an ACGME‑approved abdominal imaging fellowship program.

Penn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH), and the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PAVMC), as well as affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
