Job summary

The Division of Abdominal Imaging within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Miami Health System invites fellowship-trained applicants for a full-time faculty appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track.

The incumbent will join a faculty of 70 clinical radiologists across multiple facilities including Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
• Body Imaging Fellowship completed.
• Board certification by American Board of Radiology or Florida medical license eligibility.
• At least 1 year of dedicated abdominal radiology fellowship training.
• University faculty experience preferred but not required.
• Provide clinical imaging services across X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participation in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engagement in development and management of clinical research.
• Interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations and some fluoroscopic procedures.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students; participate in research and journal clubs.
• Be part of the on-call radiology schedule and supervise technical personnel.
