Job summary

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) seeks an ABC Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) to deliver comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic patient care in Davenport, Iowa. The role includes gait analysis, device fitting, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include evaluations, design and adjustment of devices, patient education, and maintaining compliant documentation. Competitive salary with benefits is offered in a growing outpatient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• ABC Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics (CPO) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education.
• Strong understanding of biomechanics, anatomy, componentry, and rehab principles.
• Ability to manage patient caseload independently with high documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality prosthetic and orthotic patient care per ABC scope and regulatory standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, gait analysis, and functional assessments.
• Design, fit, align, adjust, and troubleshoot prosthetic/orthotic devices for comfort and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use, wear schedules, and rehab goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers on interdisciplinary plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation for reimbursement and compliance.
• Develop relationships with referral sources to support clinic growth.
• Ensure services comply with licensure, ABC standards, OSHA, and payer guidelines.
• Mentor support staff and contribute to collaborative clinic culture.
