ABB Inc. in Richmond, Virginia, seeks an Operations/Supply Planner to develop and execute integrated production and supply plans while managing capacity, coordinating S&OP processes, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet demand with minimal cost.

The role analyzes data, drives ERP-based planning, and leads cross-functional planning meetings for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 2 years in production planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in engineering or related field with 2 years of experience in production planning and purchasing.
• In lieu of degree, 2 additional years of experience accepted.
• 2 years of experience with SAP ERP (Production/Material management), supplier relations and planning tools.
• Experience in capacity planning, material planning, and inventory management.

Job Description

Operations/Supply Planner positions offered by ABB Inc. ( Richmond, Virginia ). Responsible for developing and executing integrated production and supply plans, managing capacity planning, coordinating Sales & Operations Planning processes, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. Analyze production and supply chain data, drive ERP-based planning processes, facilitate cross-functional planning meetings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plan adherence and operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience performing production planning and purchasing
• In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience
• Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Using SAP ERP, including the Production or Material management module
  • Working in supplier relations, including performing Supplier Management and using planning tools, quality processes, commercial terms, and standard plannings
  • Performing capacity planning, material planning, and inventory management

We are offering a salary of $129,375 to $186,500 per year.
