Abatement Supervisor — Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor (Certification Required) to join one of the top abatement firms in the US. This is a chance to work for a company with decades of success, a strong safety record, and steady growth in abatement and remediation projects.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise asbestos abatement crews and ensure work is completed safely and per OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee site setup, including containment, negative air systems, and waste handling.
- Conduct inspections, ensure PPE compliance, and monitor project progress.
- Lead daily safety talks, enforce company safety policies, and document any incidents.
- Maintain daily logs, air monitoring results, and waste manifests.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and regulators on project status and compliance.
- Train and mentor crew members on safety and compliance.
- Manage tools, supplies, and equipment for cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of asbestos abatement or environmental remediation experience.
- Current EPA AHERA Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Certification (40-hour) and annual 8-hour refresher.
- Knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience supervising crews and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including respirator use.
- Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S.
