Qualifications

• Experience with physics-based modeling and simulation.
• Experience with Abaqus.
• Experience with nonlinear structural analysis.
• Experience with failure modeling of composites.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials and practices for flight vehicles design.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Fortran for analysis setup and execution.
• Experience presenting to customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thermo-structural response analysis of composite materials and structures under a variety of conditions using Abaqus.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, scientists, and software developers to research, develop, and demonstrate novel approaches to advance structural response modeling of carbon-based composites.
