Job summary

Acorn Health in Illinois is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver high-quality ABA interventions under BCBA supervision. You will work 1:1 with children, collect data, and help families implement effective strategies.

The role offers collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth, with benefits available to full-time staff and some to part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• At least 1–2 years’ experience working with children.
• At least 1 year experience with ABA preferred.
• Certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) highly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Should pass a background check.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
• Work with supervising BCBA and team to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Provide parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and inform treatment decisions.
• Communicate with parents and supervisors to improve treatment plans.
• Provide services at center, home, school, or other clinically indicated locations.
• Occasional driving between client locations.
