Job summary

Instructional ABA Consultants in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a motivated Behavior Therapist Intern for a part-time role with a minimum six-month commitment. You will support children with Autism under BCBA supervision, with hands-on ABA therapy in clinic and in-home settings.

The position offers hourly pay of $17 pre-certification and $19–$21 once RBT certified, plus a $150 sign-on bonus after three months. Daytime/evening shifts include one weekend day, in-person only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children (paid or volunteer).
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Ideal for students pursuing a degree in psychology, education, or behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Follow treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect and report session data within 24 hours.
• Attend training sessions and maintain communication with your BCBA.
• Follow all ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.
