Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The role focuses on social and communication skills in home or school settings with supervision from a BCBA/Program supervisor.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, following Behavior Plans, and supporting families. Prior experience preferred; CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of One Year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for working with children with Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• Help children learn and grow by improving social and communication skills.
• Implement goals from the Behavior Plan as directed by BCBA/ supervisors.
• Document progress using a mobile app in line with Behavior Plans.
• Work mainly in clients' homes with some sessions in schools as needed.
• Support families and contribute to true behavior support and crisis intervention.

What You’ll Do:

• Help Kids Learn and Grow: Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Always Stay Active: Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Keep Things Organized: Document kiddos’ progress and milestones using a mobile application while following Behavior Plans, objectives, and instruction from the BCBA/Program supervisor.
• Consistent Work Setting: You’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in local schools depending on our client’s needs.
• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope through providing true behavior support services and crisis intervention.
