Job summary

NB Hospitals is seeking a compassionate ABA Therapist to provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to children and adolescents with ASD and other developmental disabilities under supervision. The role involves implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and promoting communication and social skills in various settings.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred) with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or related field).
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, academic, and behavioral skills using ABA.
• Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and maintain documentation.
• Monitor client progress and communicate observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers by modeling intervention techniques.
