Action Behavior Centers is hiring a School Readiness Behavior Therapist in Austin, TX to work with children aged 5–12 in the ABC Academy program. You’ll deliver play-based ABA therapy, follow individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a supportive team while pursuing your RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children.
• Get on and off the floor frequently.
• Maintain an active pace throughout the day.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Commitment to ABC’s core value of team; may occasionally help support a nearby sister clinic if needed

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children aged 5 to 12 years using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team.
• Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to stay engaged with children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space.
