Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities in a position based in California.

The role includes supporting social and communication skill development under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The job offers hourly compensation of $21–$26, with additional bonuses and a path for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Providesbehaviorsupportservices and crisis intervention
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor
