Job summary

Kid Clan Services, Inc. seeks an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Technician to support clients with autism and developmental disabilities under BCBA supervision. You will implement ABA strategies, collect progress data, and teach essential life skills across homes, schools, and community settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
• Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
