Job summary

Heartleaf ABA is a center-based program serving young children with autism. We are hiring people who enjoy ages 2-5 and are comfortable around autism. Training includes a 35-hour Behavioral Health Professional program with live sessions and a path to becoming an RBT.

This role is a mix of nursery schoolteacher, analyst, and mentor. You will participate in training to become an RBT, use ABA techniques, and record data on a tablet while helping kids build communication and daily life skills.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or GED is required.
• Experience with children, especially with autism.
• Willingness to sit, play, and physically engage with kids.
• Comfort with diaper changes and floor play.
• Tech-savvy and able to use a tablet to record data.
• Outgoing, positive, enthusiastic, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage young children in ABA activities and play-based learning.
• Record data on a tablet and monitor progress.
• Support families and model ABA strategies for home use.
• Collaborate with the team to create nurturing routines.
